About the Photographer

Hello, my name is Cintra Davis, and I am a fine art photographer drawn to the quiet beauty of the ocean.

The ocean has always been my happy place. It is where everything slows down, where the noise fades, and where I feel most like myself. There is a sense of calm and clarity that only exists near the water, and it is something I have been drawn to for as long as I can remember.

In 2019, I began to pursue photography more seriously, focusing on ocean landscapes as my primary subject. What started as a passion quickly became something deeper. I was not just capturing what I saw, I was capturing how it felt to be there.

The Bahamas holds a special place in my heart. The water, the light, and the endless shades of blue create a kind of beauty that feels almost unreal. It is a place that continues to inspire me every time I return, and many of my favorite images are captured in those quiet moments along its shores.

I am especially drawn to the changing light throughout the day. From the softness of early morning to the warmth of sunset, each moment brings a different mood and energy. These fleeting moments are what I strive to preserve through my work.
